My Epilepsy Story

SeizureTracker.com isn’t just for tracking “SEIZURES”

In today’s world we are all busy with LIFE… We never seem to have enough time in the day to get everything accomplished.  Whether it is getting things done at work, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, exercise, and spending time with our family or friends. At the end of the day, I am just exhausted and I then I start to think of all the things that I need to accomplish the next day… I have a confession…I ALWAYS put my health LAST on my list.  Come on ladies, I know I am not alone! Why do we do this to ourselves?  We always put other things ahead of our health.  I am not sure if it is that we think we are SUPERWOMAN and can do it all even as our own healthcare is lagging behind.  The reality is that we are not helping anyone out, much less ourselves!  We have to make our health a PRIORITY in our lives. We owe it to ourselves, our family, our colleagues, and to the medical professionals that give of themselves to care for us.

I am excited to announce an AMAZING app that is out there to help us to navigate our hectic schedules.  The app is SeizureTracker.com.  At SeizureTracker.com, they not only track your seizures but they have added a Birth Control and Pregnancy Tool as well! I have had the pleasure to get to know Rob and Lisa Moss, the founders of SeizureTracker.com, over the past 7 years.  We have shared lots of hard times of dealing with epilepsy in our own lives.  They founded SeizureTracker.com not to make money but to help their son that has epilepsy.  The Moss family shared SeizureTracker.com with millions of people diagnosed with epilepsy to help them track seizures and allow the patient to share this information with their doctor.  SeizureTracker.com has an app for Android, Apple, and Alexa (Amazon).  I am excited to see where SeizureTracker.com will go and how many more people they will help with epilepsy across the world!  We have been talking with them about the things that women and girls living with epilepsy need.  Hopefully soon we can share what we have been working on with SeizureTracker.com.  Until that time make sure you start using the app today and share it with your doctors!
